Day 1
This is your arrival day to Belize - Be prepared for a temperature change as you hit sub-tropical climate. Upon your arrival to Belize, our BAU representative will be waiting for you outside with your name written on a sign at the exit door of the Airport into mainland Belize. You will be transfered to your new location

Day 2 ( B.L.D ) day to explore San Ignacio or relax by the pool or take a local hike.

Day 3 ( B.L.D ), Xunantunich Ruins & River canoeing

After a hearthy Breakfast we depart the hotel on a leisurely drive to the Ancient city of Xunantunich "Maiden of the Rock" or "Stone Lady". Located along the banks of the Mopan river, Xunantunich is the second largest ancient city in Belize. El Castillo the Temple Pyramid rises 130ft above the jungle.

Later we venture into down town San Ignacio, where we dine at one of the local restaurants for some genuine Belizean rice and beans with fried plantains and a cold glass of fresh juice.But wait a minute! dont forget your swimming gear as we are on our way to the lower Mopan river for more fun in the sun. Yeah chill for abit and sit back in your canoe paddle away down gentle rapids,viewing the rich natural history of this river. Iguanas,birds and occassional turtles sunbathing on longs and dont forget the locals enjoying the same environment.

Day 4 ( B.L.D ) day to explore San Ignacio or relax by the pool if your feeling adventurous - River Tubing.

Day 5 ( B.L.D ) Barton creek cave by canoe, Green Hills Butterfly Ranch

The trip starts with an adventurous drive towards the Mountain Pine Ridge area along the Chiquibul Road and through a picturesque Mennonite farm community.

Here your guide will row you deep inside Barton Creek Cave (about 1 or 2 miles depending on water levels). Sit back, relax and direct your 1,000 candle lamp at the amazing formations inside the huge cave believed by the Maya to be the Underworld, "Xibalba", (pronounced SheeBALba) the Kingdom of their Gods. Float under stalagtites, see ancient skeletons and pottery and prepare to be awstruck by cathedral-like caverns.

Marvel at the 5 million year old crystalline structures over 50 feet in length as your knowledgable guide explains the Maya's beliefs about the underworld. Butterflies gently showing off their marvelious colors, shapes and Sizes. Their magical and gentle gestures alow you to slip into a world of complete peace and freedom, enjoy each moment as they amaze you with their charm and beauty.
