Greetings, Lenny!
We had an awesome 4 days in San Pedro, and luckily the weather cleared for a day so we could snorkel Hol chan and Shark Ray Alley...Wow...very intense! Definitely the highlight for Michelle - she nearly jumped off the boat to see the sharks when they started swimming around us.
The entire trip was incredible. You guys did a great job in accommodating changes and unique requests, like mine. Michelle was totally surprised when I asked her the question on top of Caana, and even more surprised when Eddie brought up the cold white wine (very refreshing by the way), and yet surprised again when we got back to our room (with the rose petals and champagne, among other things!). Thanks again for making that part of the trip a lifelong memory.
PADI Open Water Diver is the most popular diver program in the world and your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventures. Full course is 3 to 5 days and includes classroom, pool and open water instruction. Course includes all material, equipment, 4 ocean dives and a PADI Open water Dive Certification Card.
But even if I didn't ask her to marry me, we will never forget the trip...I love doing the things we did anyways, but it was Michelle's first time in the jungle, climbing Mayan temples, and caving. And your guides made the sites that much more incredible. Gonzo and Eddie greatly impressed us with thier knowledge and passion about Mayan culture, history, and mythology, especially since they both worked at the excavations of both Xunantunich and Caracol, respectively. That lent credibility to their guiding that other guides don't have.
The ATM cave for us was very intense...the scrambling, wading, and burrowing through crevices to get to the main chamber. Again, Gonzo's knowledge as a forensic archaeologist came through while explaining all the Mayan artefacts and bones, as well as the fact that he actually helped map the ATM cave system. He was awesome. Thanks also to Linda and Alvin...Michelle was delighted at Alvin's' horticultural knowledge of plants and spices, being a chef and all. I had fun exchanging army stories with him, and drinking a cold brew while cruising down the western highway!
Again, thanks from both Michelle and I...I have already been telling fellow fire fighters about your operation there, so you may get some more business from Las Vegas Fire and Rescue. As for me - I might like to take your Jungle Survival Course in the future. Keep on with the good work!
Cheers, Mate!

If you have your signed paperwork showing completion of classroom and confined water from your instructor back home, well take care of the rest.
Four ocean dives over two days and you’re certified!
Hol Chan, the Maya name for “narrow channel”, is a good place for snorkelers to marvel at snapper, large grouper, queen triggerfish, moray eels and a host of coral formations. Snorkeling is done in shallow water, about 6-8 feet in most areas.
The Blue Hole at Lighthouse Reef was made famous by Jacques Cousteau.
A haven for snorkelers and SCUBA divers alike, Belize also attracts honeymoon couples and those in search of an unusual romantic getaway.
